Today’s Question: Tell us who is on your naughty list? Who is on your nice list? Why?
I was trying to find the meaning of the naughty and nice list but I didn’t. I did however find this great site that your kids can answer a few questions to see if they are on his naughty or nice list… go to
I did the questions and well this is the response I got : Do I see a lot of junk food recently? – that’s not so good, but all the smiling you’ve been doing has earned you extra points. The funniest part of that answer is that I am eating a tiny bag of chips from my lunch today while typing this up. Oops I am on Santa’s naughty list!
I have to say that right now my Grandma is on my nice list. She is getting ready to turn 83 years old on December 19 and just started going to Curves to workout 3 weeks ago. She is overweight, not horribly obese, and basically reads and watches television. She is on the go with church, AARP and her friends, but otherwise is a homebody. She loves the Hallmark Channel and Game Show Network. We watch Millionare, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She won a free month at this Women’s Show for a month at Curves, and she has been going. She has gone 8 times in the past 3 weeks! I told her I would buy her membership and December for her birthday if she wants to continue. She agreed to it finally this week. When we were talking today I asked her if she was seeing any improvements like when she walks around Walmart and waits for her prescriptions etc. She said not really, but she can bend over pull her socks up higher. I was so tickled to hear that because that is great. I told her we were going to Curves on Saturday to sign her up for December. What she doesn’t know is that my brother is getting her January and February for Christmas.
Oh I guess for the naughty list it is my brother and I, since our almost 83 year old grandmother is working out and we do not work out. What is even worse is that I have a free YMCA membership through my nanny family. We were discussing how bad this makes us for not working out and she does. I do walk a dog three days a week for like 20 minutes but that isn’t true working out.
Fun sites for the kids:

Kudos to your grandma for getting out there and enjoying herself! It seems like she’s enjoying it. I think you and your brother should get to move to the nice list for helping her continue it the next few months!

I highly doubt that you are on Santa’s naughty list. Being a nanny you work really hard, I’m sure you are on the good list

I turned 53 on Dec. 19th and have never been to a gym, except high school, and I was generally excused from athletics because of my allergies.
Your grandmother sounds great. One of these days am I going to have to exercise?
I hope I can put it off till I am 83!
You are so on the good list.
