how do I love thee yet loathe you. Apparently kidlet #3 got a Sony Cybershot camera from Santa. Well Santa didn’t do a great job with the gift because he forgot the memory stick. Tomorrow is a big day for the kid, and he needs his camera. He had a memory card for his cell phone, and he tried using it in his camera-but it didn’t work. He came downstairs about 6pm and asked if I had one he could borrow. I said let me see your camera. Then I realized he had the Sony.
I told him I would take him to Target to get a Sony memorystick if Mom said it was ok. He went upstairs and told her that I would take him. She agreed. He and I went to Target on a SUNDAY -my day off- at 6:30pm. We find the memory stick , some note cards and envelopes for his science fair project and go pay. Then he calls Mom to see about dinner. She said he could eat fast food. I told him I was going to Panera Bread and that was all.
He agrees to go and eat there too. I normally get the Bacon Turkey Bravo sandwich (thanks to my friend Sherri introducing it to me). This is what is on it Smoked turkey breast, bacon, smoked Gouda, lettuce, tomatoes & our signature dressing, on our Tomato Basil bread. It is so delicous and yummy!
The kid got his on sourdough, pulled off the tomatoes and the second half of gouda cheese. He ate it up like he had not eaten in days. I was so thrilled!
This makes the second time this week he has eaten something different. I made chili the other night that everyone loved.
What makes this outing strange is that I would never think to take my kidlets I nanny out on the weekend for something. For some reason with this job, all of my “normal” actions have gone out the door, yet I am very comfortable in this job. Afterall, tomorrow is Monday and it is One Tree Hill at 9pm ![]()
