Nanny Adventures

I got back from Dallas at 2am on Sunday night from my nanny conference there. I of course got the sinus icky illness…….which one could have confused with the Swine Flu because Texas did have 2 of the cases in the beginning of the week. My friend Kellie and I arrived at the airport to see her silver car covered in yellow pollen.  I wanted to cry! This just made my sinuses go crazier! 

I slept the week away to get better and try to relax the hacking of the lungs. I got up at 6:30am Thursday am and took a shower. I had a 9am doctor’s appt I had been waiting for. I go out to the car at 8:30am and see that my front left tire is flat as flat can be.  I just wanted to cry.   I got my boss’s AAA card and called them. This great guy came out and showed me where the spare tire was hiding magically under the car in a cover and changed it out for me.  The tire had a razor blade/sheet metal stuck in it, it was completely flattened with the tire. 

I go up to the tire place and see if it can be plugged, nope it can’t. He orders me a new tire because they didn’t have any in stock.  He just called to tell me it was in. YEAH!   I now get to go up to the tire place for like an hour to get them to change the tires out and put the spare back under the car.

I love having a car :)   This is my second flat tire I believe. The first one was ions ago and the car had to be towed because the axel was busted too.  Hope you have a better ending to your week!
