Nanny Adventures

It is official we are getting a new cleaning company to come to the house in one week to do a thorough deep cleaning of the house.  The dust bunnies and their spider friends will all go to “cleaner heaven”  This is going to be awesome.  The place will sparkle and be dust free!

The biggest problem is going to be getting all three kidlets to purge in their rooms.  Kidlet #1 ships off to a 2 week summer abroad enrichment program.  Kidlet #2 just came home from school, so is in the midst of unpacking and basic decompression of being out of school.  Kidlet #3 hates cleaning his room.  Then we have various pieces around the house to clean as well.  

I have to say I have my fair share of cleaning/purging/organizing to do as well.  That will happen tomorrow I believe in some aspects.  I have 6 totes I would like to downsize and get rid of it possible. 

I hope this cleaning company does a great job because I would really like to fire our current company that doesn’t do crap basically. Now part of that is the family’s fault.  The previous nanny didn’t talk to the cleaning people and tell them to clean/dust more thoroughly.  The kids are all in their teens so their idea of cleaning is to make sure their bedroom can be shut.  The new company will even change their sheets every 2 weeks!  This will be awesome.  I am hoping they will be able to do mine as well. I hate changing the sheets on the bed since it is placed in a corner.

Well I am off to power clean/organize/purge of my area/room.
