Nanny Adventures

So there is a little running joke between me and the oldest, Kidlet #1.  When he started driving with me last fall for driver’s education, he would park very close to the stone wall in the driveway.  I would say “Hey , I am not Kate Moss!”  He looked puzzled and then I explained that Kate Moss was a super skinny model, and though I am just as beautiful as her I was not as skinny as her. Could you give me some room to get out of the car please?     So he backed up the car and gave me more than the 4inches he orginially gave me.

Yesterday I was picking him up at the Metro and I had pulled close to the guardrail, and he comes to the car and opens the back door and says “I am not Kate Moss, you know!”  I started dying laughing, and said “two points.”  It was a great laugh between the two of us.

He is a tall kid who is over 6 feet and skinny. He could pass possibly as a male verison of Kate Moss but not yesterday. 

This is just one of those chuckles I get with my job, when I know they actually listen to me occasionally.
