I have been using water bottles forever it seems like. Well on this season of The Biggest Loser, they had a challenge of eliminating the waste from purchased water bottles. They teamed up with Brita and www.filterforgood.com . During the course of the season they eliminated 32,183 at the end of Week 15. That is pretty awesome.
Now I am not a huge Go Green person etc. I am very much a person of convenience. But somehow I continue buying atleast 3 cases of water every other week. Kidlet #1 and I drink water like it is going out of style. Kidlet #3 drinks water from tap.
When I was at Target last week I bit the bullet and shelled out $29 for the Go Green Brita Pitcher that holds 10 cups of water and came with the free Green 32 oz Nalgene bottle. I have been drinking atleast 3 bottles of water a day. Which is atleast 96 ozs of water. Yes I am floating away at times.
According to the website www.filterforgood.com I will save 2190 bottles a year by using the Nalgene water bottle. That is based on drinking 6 water bottles a day.
Will you join my efforts? Go to www.filterforgood.com and receive a $5 off Brita Filter system and a $1 off filter coupon as well. Most of the Brita systems at Target had the free water bottle, which is a $10 value. How many water bottles will you save this year?
