Kidlet #3 and I were sitting outside the house that I am dogsitting/babysitting at. He turns to me and says things are changing very very slowly each day. I asked what he meant. He said “it used to get dark at 8:30, now it is like 6:30. You told me to take my run at 7pm, and not 8:30 because it was too dark.” Which is true he didn’t need to be running in the dark at age 11-12 etc. He goes on to explain how the leaves are changing colors and they are falling. The oxygen in the air is what is causing allergies and asthamics have trouble this time of year. I was like how so. He said well the leaves are dying and falling so they are not using the oxygen…which means they die. Therefore people aren’t getting as much as oxygen as in the spring. I was like ok that is a good theory. I also asked him what happens when leaves fall on the ground and get wet…………Mold he says. Exactly that aides in people’s allergies as well.
So there is the change of seasons theory from kidlet #3 as he sat outside on this gorgeous 60 degree crisp sunny blue skied fall day!
