Well today was a huge day for me…I put in the last of $2500 for my 2008 IRA contribution. Bringing my total contribution to $5000 for 2008! YEAH!!! 2008 was my first year of having an IRA. It was kinda of interesting since I invested $2500 at first and that quickly shrunk to $1800 over the past few months because of the economy. I can’t even fathom what other’s portfolio’s look like.
I also got reimbursed for my work expenses. I had 3 months worth of expenses to get back. I lost 2 months worth of the receipts. Yes I am that talented! Now I am back up to speed on that.
Next up on the money train is getting my 2009 budget back in order and figured out! I am 2 months behind on that, but it will be quickly resolved thanks to Excel!
To celebrate all my money successes, I am going shopping for some Q-tips, a hairbrush and some Hershey’s chocolate bars-which I have 2 buy one get one free coupons 
and then to lunch at Panera Bread with my friend!

You better get that budget working.
My only money news was being able to book a cheap flight for me and the mrs. for a wedding end of May.
