Nanny Adventures

Over a year ago, my brother told me that the state of North Carolina had me on the Unclaimed Money list.   I printed out that info in June of 2007.  I recently found it after the start of the new year.   They wanted me to confirm my address from 1993.   Hello that was like oh I don’t know 10 houses ago.  I then ran across a copy of my credit report that listed my addresses and there it was Mt. Pisgah Church Road!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH.  I had mailed in my stuff and have heard nothing.  Towards the end of April I called them and she said they had recieved in on Feb 26. I asked how much the amount was.  She said $101.23.  WOOHOOO I am rich.    I called back today because it has been past the 8 weeks they said.   The lady said they mailed my check yesterday! 

My brother said I owed him a finder’s fee of 10%.  I guess he will have to ask mom for 10 bucks on Thursday when he sees her
