- My favorite memorial: The Lincoln Memorial!
Today, I took my friend Kellie to Reagan National Airport at 4:45am. It was still dark when we left my house. As we were driving along George Washington Parkway, the sun was rising in that lovely pink jewel toned sky above DC. The monuments were lit up from the nighttime still.
On my way back from the airport, I took a few photos, from the car, they aren’t the best. I think you will get the idea though.
It was really peaceful watching Washington DC and the monuments come alive today.
